Miss Independent

Miss. Independent is a course designed for high school juniors/seniors / college women, and other young Divas who will soon be or currently living alone, or away from home. This will be an empowering, inspirational, and comprehensive based course which will offer easy to learn skill developed to defend the Diva from attack. We will let the ladies know that they are more powerful than they know, and they have the right to stand up for themselves in any situation including relationships. Safe Diva Defense will help to remove fear as they learn how to escape and violent situations, and people.

This will include skills aimed at fleeing almost any sexual and physical assaults.
This will be an approximately (4) hour course which will include the fourteen (14) elements of personal safety critical for this age group, Young women will enjoy and become empowered by the self defense tools we teach.

Safe Diva Defense is proud to be different from other self-defense programs. We focus on avoiding problematic situations through Situational Awareness, which includes classroom presentation. Fancy tricks that will not work in real life but look “awesome” are not focused on or taught, if a young woman finds herself in danger, we don’t focus on “techniques” but general vital points to strike, how to strike without being injured, how to get away and hide, etc.  We believe that “Less Is Best,” in a real life violent situation you don’t have time to try and remember techniques.  You should try to avoid all conflicts, if this can’t be done; you just cause injury and flee!!
